Christmas Ornament - Beading Pattern - PDF Tutorial - SECRET STAR
This simply stunning beading pattern provides step by step instructions with very clear colour photographs to create a beautiful ornament that has an intriguing and fun movement.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS IS A BEADED ORNAMENT AND NOT A TOY!
Designed as the Christmas Ornament for 2017, this sparkling ornament is sure to grace any Christmas tree but would look just as pretty as an everyday ornament on a shelf! If you love Peyote it is relatively easy to do, created in components which are then stitched together. The outside geometric shell is sturdy and firm. In addition this beautiful star has a mechanical 'secret'. Once completed you will be able to effectively fold in two sides of the star to create a flatter yet still three dimensional star!
The finished star measures approximately 2.5" (6.5cm) in diameter.
I would advise this is an Advanced beading tutorial. I am confident that an Intermediate beader will also be able to accomplish this tutorial. I am here to help for those of you trying to tackle something a little more difficult! You should be comfortable working in component form. Also this tutorial is not a 'quick' make - and will require patience and time to complete successfully! As the owner of a completed Secret Star - I can assure you that every bead stitched is VERY worth the outcome! ...
