Peyote Easter Egg Tutorial - 'Daffodil' - Ornament
This beading pattern provides step by step instructions with very clear colour photographs to create the jewelled 'Daffodil' Easter egg. Perfect for Easter but personally I am happy to have it on my Christmas tree too! The Daffodil can also be beaded separately with a little adjustment to the pattern, which I am sure most advanced beaders would be able to achieve.

This geometric shell is sturdy and firm and requires no inner support or polystyrene insert on completion.
The finished Egg measures approximately 9cm/3.5" in height and 5.5cm/2.25" in diameter.
The tutorial is comprehensive and clear - 27 pages with 99 clear colour photographs!
I would advise this is an intermediate beading tutorial. An advanced beginner with good experience of peyote should also be able to accomplish this tutorial as I have included as many helpful hints and tips as I can. Also, I am here to help for those of you trying to tackle something a little more difficult! You should be comfortable working in component form, peyote, and starting and ending new threads. In addition, a knowledge of Right Angle Weave and beading a peyote triangle would be a distinct advantage. Please bear in mind that this tutorial is not a 'quick' make - and will require patience and time to complete successfully!
The tutorial DOES NOT include instructions for beading a Peyote triangle! However, there is a free video on the Crystal Star Gems Facebook page to help you if you need it.
