The Trinity Ornament - Peyote Stitch
This beading pattern provides step by step instructions with very clear colour photographs to create this pretty Trinity ornament with Snowflakes. As the ornament turns it reveals stars or a pyramid depending on how you view it. As the design uses warped squares, I think there would be many existing warped square patterns you could use with it, but be sure to mention the designer of the original pattern and always ask permission first! - or create your very own new one!

This ornament is approximately 2.5"/6cm in diameter at the widest point and the height is approximately 6"/15cm but you can adapt this to suit your own preference. You can also make the ornament without the Snowflakes and replace them with a complimentary tassle perhaps?
The tutorial is comprehensive and clear - 21 pages, 19 steps and 69 clear colour photographs!
I would advise this is an Expert beading tutorial. I am confident that an Advanced beader, looking for something a little challenging, will also be able to accomplish this tutorial as I have included as many helpful hints and tips as I can. Also, I am here to help for those of you trying to tackle something a little more difficult!
You should be comfortable working in component form, peyote, starting and ending new threads and adjusting working thread paths. You should know how to create a Peyote triangle and a warped Peyote square. Please bear in mind that this tutorial is not a 'quick' make - and will require patience and time to complete successfully! You might also need a No.12 needle! The resulting geometric design is worth the time and care needed to complete the Trinity ornament successfully.
