The Guardian Angel - Tutorial - Peyote Stitch and Herringbone Stitch
The Guardian Angel is stunningly beautiful! The wing design is innovative and unique, created and designed by Tracey Lorraine. The Angel is happy to stand alone, sit at the top of a small Christmas tree or hang with a thread or hook through her halo.
The tutorial provides step by step instructions, with clear colour photographs to guide you.
*** I have beaded the wings with 'Satin' Delica Beads. I do NOT recommend the use of these beads unless you are an Advanced Beader with a great deal of patience. Miyuki make many other beautiful shades of white which would make the construction of the wings a great deal easier! If you are unsure please get in touch BEFORE you purchase the tutorial***

This ornament is approximately 10cm/4" tall and the wing span is approximately 7cm/2.75" at the widest point.
The tutorial is comprehensive and clear - 35pages, 48 steps and 135 clear colour photographs!
This is an Advanced beading tutorial. I am confident that an Intermediate beader, looking for something more challenging, will also be able to accomplish this tutorial as I have included as many helpful hints and tips as I can. Also, I am here to help for those of you trying to tackle something a little more difficult!
You should be comfortable working in component form, peyote, circular peyote, herringbone and starting and ending new threads. Please bear in mind that this tutorial is not a 'quick' make - and will require patience and time to complete successfully! As the owner of a completed Guardian Angel - I can assure you that every bead stitched is VERY worth the outcome! ...
