The Spring Dodecahedron Ornament - Tutorial - Peyote - Geometric Beadwork

This beading pattern provides step by step instructions with very clear colour photographs to create the Spring Dodecahedron ornament. This ornament is a peyote challenge - it is approximately 9cm/3.5" in diameter and uses just over 60g of delica beads and 147 Swarovski pearls. When finished you will either see spring flowers, raised triangles or the mathematical structure of the dodecahedron, depending which colour you focus on.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS IS A BEADED ORNAMENT AND NOT A TOY!
The tutorial is comprehensive and clear - 16 pages, 21 steps and 43 clear colour photographs!
I would advise this is an Expert beading tutorial. I am confident that an Advanced beader, looking for something a little challenging, will also be able to accomplish this tutorial as I have included as many helpful hints and tips as I can. Also, I am here to help for those of you trying to tackle something a little more difficult!
You will need to know how to bead a peyote warped square. You can find a free video tutorial on my YouTube channel if you would like to learn. You should also be comfortable working in component form, peyote, starting and ending new threads and adjusting working thread paths. Please bear in mind that this tutorial is not a 'quick' make - and will require patience and time to complete successfully! You will also need an old No.12 needle! The resulting geometric design is worth the time and care needed to complete the ornament successfully.
