The Chinese Pagoda Trinket Box and Tea Light Holder - Tutorial- Peyote

The Chinese Pagoda Trinket Box is a stunning testament to patience! It will take a while to create but it is so worth the time. It is a perfect way to give a gift this Christmas as it does not necessarily need wrapping and it can be reused as an LED Tealight holder! The particular beads chosen for this tutorial mean that an LED Tealight placed inside the box will give off a pretty warm glow. If you prefer you could stitch the lid to the base and poke an LED christmas bulb through the openwork on the lid - a unique Christmas tree ornament...
The tutorial provides step by step instructions, with very clear colour photographs for this box. You can bead it in any colour way you choose, particularly if you have a favourite peyote triangle pattern. You could also utilise all those little 2g left over delica beads in your stash (for the flowers). The choice is yours! If you've never beaded a box, don't worry - every step is included in this tutorial!

I would advise this is an Expert beading tutorial. I am confident that an Advanced beader, looking for something a little challenging, will also be able to accomplish this tutorial as I have included as many helpful hints and tips as I can. Also, I am here to help for those of you trying to tackle something a little more difficult!
You should be comfortable working in component form, peyote, circular peyote, and starting and ending new threads. You will need to be able to follow a colour graph, although a word chart is also included.
