The Chinese Temple Stacking Trinket Box and LED Tea Light Holder - Tutorial - Peyote
PLEASE NOTE: The Adobe PDF file will be forwarded attached to a personal email within 24 business hours, usually it is much quicker! The file size is approximately 14.4MB.
The Chinese Temple is a set of three trinket boxes which stack on top of each other, finishing with a lid. Decorated with a cherry blossom tree which runs the across all three panels. It will take a while to create but it is so worth the time. The particular beads chosen for this tutorial mean that an LED Tealight placed inside base and middle boxes will give off a pretty warm glow.
The tutorial provides step by step instructions, with very clear colour photographs for this box. You can bead it in any colour way you choose. You could also utilise all those little 3g left over delica beads in your stash (for the flowers). The choice is yours! If you've never beaded a box, don't worry - every step is included in this tutorial!
IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS IS A BEADED ORNAMENT AND NOT A TOY!
The tutorial is comprehensive and clear - 27 pages, 26 steps and 64 clear colour photographs. It also includes three colour graphs and three word charts.
I would advise this is an Expert beading tutorial. I am confident that an Advanced beader, looking for something a little challenging, will also be able to accomplish this tutorial.
You should be comfortable working in component form, peyote, circular peyote, and starting and ending new threads. You will need to be able to follow a colour graph (there are three), although the word charts are also included.
If you would like advice on the quantity of beads required to make the Chinese Temple Trinket Box please do feel free to get in touch.
This pattern may only be used by the purchaser and is for personal use ONLY. If you require advice on commercial licensing please contact the seller directly via email.
You may make one or two Ornaments to sell if you wish but please make sure you acknowledge the Designer.
